Cal/Arizona......two teams who played a bad game. Arizona played worse than Cal.....in fact, they appeared to be trying to lose. There was no strategy, the play calling was ultra-predictible and the execution as horrible.....and yet, UA almost won, IN BERKLEY. It's not that UA deserved to win...they didn't. It was just that it was remarkable that the game was so close in spite of UA doing everything they could to lose.....other than the fact that they made a couple of interceptions. I was extremely disapponted in Foles. He looked like a scared rabbit all afternoon. This is astonishing after seeing him against Stanford two weeks ago. I realize that they are out of running backs and that it probably affected the play selection, but I'm not sure they would have beated WSU had they played like they did yesterday, last week. Anyway, I hope there is some imporovement at home next week and that the season can be salvaged with a win over Oregon at home. At this point, I don't see a chance against USC and ASU is a toss-up. So my apologies to niners fan for allowing myself to be taken in by some mis-placed homerism Category: NCAAF Tags: Arizona Wildcats
